18th June 2020
The First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, has advised on 18th June that dental clinics can reopen from 22nd June. Whilst we are aiming to open as close to that date as possible, it is unlikely to be as soon as this.
The clinic plans to reopen by 29th June, if not before, for emergency & urgent care only.
There are still many limitations in place and we would ask patients to note the following:
Routine dental care is not available.
Appointments must have been pre arranged.
The use of drills is not yet permitted.
The clinic can only see 10 patients per day maximum.
The front door is to remain locked and booked patients will need to phone to gain access, where they shall be met by a member of the dental team with PPE.
Patients who have an appointment shall be contacted by the surgery the night before to confirm the new process that is in place, in addition to asking both a Medical questionnaire and a COVID 19 screening questionnaire.
Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.
